How CoolSculpting Works to Remove That Pesky Double Chin

Do you look in the mirror and see a double or triple chin? We can help improve this with Coolsculpting!

What causes double chins?

CoolSculpting, known scientifically as cryolipolysis, is a fat loss, not a weight loss, treatment. It freezes and kills your fat cells, which your body eliminates over 2-6 months. Typically, CoolSculpting can remove 20% to 25% of fat in areas treated. You may see results in as little as three weeks.

CoolSculpting has been FDA-cleared to treat visible fat bulges in these areas:

What to expect

During your CoolSculpting treatment at Tahoe Women's Care, you will recline in a comfortable chair while our trained Coolsculpting technicians  attach a gel pad and applicator to your double chin. The applicator is strapped onto your chin, so it doesn’t move during the freeze time which is 45 minutes.

After treatment, our technicians  will massage your chin for 2 to 3 minutes. Then, you’re free to continue your day. There’s no downtime, although you will feel numbness in the treatment area.

Some possible CoolSculpting side effects include:
